We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Account Manager to oversee our team of content creators, community management, and advertiser post fulfillment across our media brands. This is a hybrid position based in San Antonio, TX. This role is contract (or contract-to-hire) with the expectation that this position will report to our Monte Vista office twice a week, with remote-option for the rest. This team member will develop and oversee social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive traffic to media content. This role involves managing content calendars, creating engaging content, monitoring social media trends, analyzing performance, and interacting with followers. This position plays a key role in building relationships with influencers and managing social media campaigns. You’ll manage both organic and paid social content fulfillment across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and oversee campaign execution from start to finish. You’ll also act as a liaison between our content creators, internal teams, and advertisers, ensuring social deliverables are met with accuracy and creativity.

What You’ll Do Content & Community Management Ensure organic and paid social strategies aligned with brand goals Create and schedule (or quality control created posts) across platform-native content (graphics, Reels, TikToks, etc.) Light design/editing of social posts (typically in Canva) Ensure enaging editorial content is consistent across media outlet social channels Monitor and respond to DMs and comments; foster a strong online community Track trends, recommend new ideas, and ensure brand voice is consistent Advertiser Post Fulfillment Oversee sponsored post creation from asset collection to copywriting and publishing Manage Meta ad campaigns (boosting, audience targeting, budget pacing, reporting) Coordinate with advertisers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery Analytics & Optimization Monitor performance metrics and KPIs; generate reports with actionable insights Optimize campaigns based on performance data Manage content banks, multimedia assets, and user-generated content Cross-functional Collaboration Liaise with contractors, content creators, and agency teams Attend weekly strategy meetings to brainstorm and review performance Support marketing efforts during events and in-house shoots Create graphics and templates via Canva Ensure deliverables stay on track using project management tools like ClickUp Participate in a weekly strategy meeting to review performance, brainstorm campaign ideas, and iterate based on insights.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred) 3+ years social media experience (agency experience strongly preferred) 1+ years experience running Meta ads Strong writing, storytelling, and visual content creation skills Experience with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and ClickUp Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines independently Comfort with content capture (iPhone), being on-camera, and basic editing
Bonus if You Have: Experience working with media or lifestyle brands Familiarity with influencer management and partnership development Skills in graphic design or light animation Interest in growing into a full-time or leadership role
Our Team Culture Chava’s HQ is in the historic Monte Vista neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. Our team meets in person Monday–Wednesday, with flexible remote work on Thursdays and Fridays.
